Feeding America estimates that 13 million kids in the U.S. may face food insecurity this year due to the economic fallout of COVID-19. We can take action to ensure lawmakers use tools at their disposal to ensure all kids have the food they need to learn, grow, and thrive. 

On Monday, July 19, from 1-2 PM ET, join Feeding America for a virtual #EndChildHunger Rally to tell lawmakers: we have an opportunity to make sure our kids go to bed with full tummies — and our kids are waiting on us to take it.

How to Get Involved

(1) Create An #EndChildHunger Message

Using a video, graphic, or just a tweet, create a message that fills in the blank: "I'm fighting to #EndChildHunger because _______." Ensure that your message includes the #EndHungerChild hashtag and a call to action (e.g., pass a strong Child Nutrition Reauthorization that will end child summer hunger) that will urge our lawmakers to act.

(2) Share Your #EndChildHunger Message Online

On July 19, 1-2 PM ET, join advocates across the country in sharing your #EndChildHunger messages online. As you share, be sure to tag our lawmakers and engage with any content you see.

(3) Help Promote the #EndChildHunger

It's up to each of us to make as much noise as possible about the need for our lawmakers to say "yes" to policies that will put an end to child hunger. Leading up to the rally, be sure to share this toolkit widely with folks in your networks and encourage them to join.
